i miss scrubs... and the office... hmm
i will be home in 76 days!!! yay!!! cant wait for some milk!!
tuesday morning i will sign my new contract to work at the british school... woohoo!!
saturday was my LAST saturday of work...
at the British School... here are the benefits!
1. no more old lady!!! WOOO!!!
2. no more working on saturdays!
3. no more 50-90 minutes commutes!! my new job is about 15 -20 minutes away...with traffic!
4. 1 month of vacay after a year of working?? NOPE! now i get 3 weeks in july / august, 1 week in oct, 1 week in may, and 2 months in "summer" (our winter... end of dec - end of feb)
5. i get a round trip ticket to chicago at the end of each contract
6. the british school pays my taxes and pension for me...and most of my insurance... which is about 30% of what you earn... so sweetness!
7. no more being bored all day long!! the opposite i think!
8. it costs about 6 soles to go to my new job... so 12 soles round trip... in taxi... to miraflores where i was working... about 15 soles... one way in taxi...
9. my new work is located next to the mall! woooo!!! that means i can go shopping after work whenever i want! or go to the movie theater... or go bowling... or go eat! its a pretty sweet mall!
10. i can meet more ppl around my age! yay new friends!
11. i get to teach smart high schoolers!
12. i can finally join a gym, yay!
and those are just some of the benefits! yay! yay! yay!
today is mothers day....i miss my mommy...i sent her flowers ... stargazer lillies... my favs! and some lavender bath stuff cuz she really likes lavender...
tomorrow im still taking myself on my loner date to see hannah montana... im hoping to make the 640 show!
